Dia telah melakukannya melalui publikasi di Instagram di mana dia menyampaikan perasaan yang dia miliki selama karirnya yang panjang dan sukses. Mario Mandzukic telah bermain di klub-klub seperti Dinamo Zagreb, Wolfsburg, Bayern Munchen, Atletico Madrid, Juventus, Al Duhail Qatar dan AC Milan. Bersama Dinamo, Munchen dan Juve ia memenangkan banyak gelar, serta Piala Super Spanyol pada tahun 2014 bersama Atletico Madrid, yang menjadi satu-satunya tahun ia bermain di Liga.
